On July 12, 2021, the Singapore International Enterprise Development Authority issued an announcement CPSO-120721-00, informing that there are new changes to the safety standards for high-risk controlled commodities, which will take effect from July 13, 2022.

Note: CPSO is consumer product safety, weights and measures office, which is subordinate to Singapore enterprise, Singapore's safety regulator, namely Singapore International Enterprise Development Authority.

According to the new provisions of the consumer protection (safety requirements) Ordinance, from and including July 13, 2022, if the applicable safety standards of the following tested controlled commodities are older than those in the picture table, they will not accept their new registration application or extension of existing registration.

At the same time, Enterprise Singapore released the latest CPS manual on July 2, 2021, but there are few changes compared with the previous ones. You can click the link below to view it. https://www.consumerproductsafety.gov.sg/files/cps-info-booklet.pdf
