SASO delayed the adoption of new standards for these regulated products

Previously, SASO announced that it would adopt the new standard SASO-IEC 62368-1:2020 (IEC 62368-1:2018 3.0 ed.) to replace the original SASO- IEC 60950-1 and SASO- IEC 60065. After the new standard takes effect, if you want to obtain SIRC and COC, it must be carried out in accordance with the new standard. However, according to the latest news released by the organization, the implementation time of the standard will be postponed to January 1, 2023. Therefore, before January 1, 2003, relevant products still obtain relevant certificates and licenses according to the previous standards.  

The scope of SASO IECEE regulated products includes:

- Mobile phones and tablets  

- Mobile phone chargers and parts (wired, wireless and automotive chargers)  

- Mobile phone battery and power bank  

- Smart watch, bracelet  

- Bluetooth headset  

-  Computers and notebooks  

- Television, display and display equipment  

- Electronic cigarette  

- D ishwasher  

- Water pump  

- Solar products  

- Lighting products  

The newly added products are:  

- Coffee machine  

- kettle  

- Video game console (and related accessories)  

- Electric fryer  

- Cable Pumps up to 5HP
