BIS India postpones the implementation of the mandatory bis plug / socket standard

On June 7, 2021, BIS issued a notice announcing that the implementation date of the mandatory bis plug / socket standard would be postponed to June 1, 2022.

According to the requirements of the Bureau of Indian Standards, the goods listed in column (2) of the picture table must obtain the certification of the corresponding column (3), and apply to the Bureau of Indian Standards for the certification mark of the goods according to the instructions.
