UK delays enforcement date of UKCA label

The British government announced on August 24, 2021 that for most products listed in England, Scotland and Wales, enterprises will have an additional year to apply for ukca label, that is, the mandatory implementation date originally scheduled for January 1, 2022 will be postponed to January 1, 2023.  

**UKCA label * * is used to replace the product safety label used as a member of the EU after brexit, such as CE mark. This means that before January 1, 2023, enterprises can use the CE label to enter the markets of England, Scotland and Wales, but after then they will have to use the ukca label. Therefore, enterprises must pay attention to extraction and make relevant preparations.
