Thailand issues new standard to replace TIS 1195-2561

On August 27, 2021, TiSi of Thailand Bureau of standards notified that the standard TIS195-2561 would be cancelled from August 28, 2021. According to the previous publication, the standard was issued on March 2, 2021. In order to supervise the safety requirements of audio, video and similar electronic equipment, it was originally scheduled to take effect on August 29, 2021 to replace the old standard TIS1195-2536.

Now, Thailand will issue TIS 62368 book1-2563 to replace the cancelled TIS1195-2561, which will regulate the security requirements of 20 audio, video, information and communication technology products. This means that before the new standard takes effect, the original standard TIS1195-2536 is still valid.
