India TEC releases new product range required mandatory certification

On September 22, 2021, Indian TEC announced the list of telecom equipment products in phase III and phase IV that will start compulsory certification.  

The product catalogs of phase III and phase IV cover many products currently in the scope of WPC, such as smart watches, 2.4G and 5GHz communication products. For a detailed list, please refer to the attached table.  

The effective dates of phase III and IV test certification are as follows:

In addition, the acceptance date of the test results or reports issued by ILAC laboratory is as follows:

Note that the test results or reports issued by laboratories designated by TEC or recognized by ILAC shall not be issued for more than 2 years when submitting the MTCTE application, otherwise they will not be accepted.
