Ecuador updates the list of recognized international institutions in the type approval process

The Ecuadorian telecommunications administration and Control Bureau (ARCOTEL) informed that it would revise the list of licensed international institutions in the type approval procedure for telecommunications terminal products. After revision, arcotel will accept the compliance documents issued by the following institutions:
Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL)
Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS)
Ministry of industry and information technology of China (CMIIT)
European Economic Community (CE) / declaration of conformity (DOC)
European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States of America
Korea Bureau of technology and standards (KATS)
Taiwan Communications Commission (NCC)
Industrial certification and engineering Canada (CEBIC)
ARCOTEL will regularly review this list and publish this information on its website.
