Saudi SASO IECEE Certificate

Saudi Standards Agency SASO and Saudi Customs General Administrationrequire electrical and electromechanical equipment suppliers to obtain IECEEcertification issued by SASO before products can be imported and released fromSaudi customs. The move aims to improve the quality and safety of Saudiproducts.

On July 22, 2018, Saudi SASO announced the second batch of productsthat need to obtain SASO IECEE certification.

In addition to the first-stage products, all products currentlyrequired to implement the regulations include: mobile phones, mobile phonechargers, mobile phone batteries, mobile power, televisions, water pumps,dishwashers, notebook computers, tablet computers, electronic watches.

The regulation has been implemented since August 11, 2018. Theseproducts exported to Saudi Arabia need to apply for SASO IECEE certificationbefore they can apply for SABER certification of Saudi Arabia's latest SALEENsystem.

The SASO IECEE accreditation certificate is issued by SaudiStandards Agency SASO based on the CB certificate report and other applicationdocuments, and the certification cycle is 1-2 weeks.
