Singapore announces new safety test standards

Singapore will implement the new standard requirements for medium risk controlled commodities specified in the Consumer Safety Protection Ordinance (CPSR).

According to the safety code for consumer goods, before the controlled goods are sold in Singapore, they must be tested and certified in accordance with the specified safety standards and affixed with safety certification marks.
