On August 2, 2021, IMDA issued the second edition of the technical specification for short range devices (SRD). The technical specification specifies the minimum technical requirements for short-range radio communication for short-range equipment to operate in one or more authorized frequency bands, and gives the corresponding output power level and limiting conditions in Table 1 of the specification. The revised specification mainly focuses on the requirements of various short-range equipment operating in the same space, as well as the spectrum access conditions, which can be referred to table 1. In addition, a column "additional spectrum access conditions" is added in Table 1 to list the conditions and conditions of spectrum coexistence.

Note: SRD, short range radio communication devices, according to the definition of European Telecommunications Standardization Association, is a radio device with low interference risk to other radio services. The common equipment is access control, closed-circuit television, alarm, wireless microphone, radio frequency identification (RFID), etc.
