Serbia revised LVD and EMC rulebook

The Ministry of economy and the Department of product quality and safety of Serbia have issued the newly revised LVD and EMC rule manual, which will enter into force on January 1, 2022.  

Before January 1, 2022  

-All certificates issued by the Serbian Department (covalt) before 2021 are in conformity with the rules of covalt;  

-Products before January 1, 2022 (product requirements EMC and LVD COC) shall have 3A mark, the last two digits of the year of issuance of COC and the number of the notification authority.  

-No market supervision After January 1, 2022  

-COC becomes non-mandatory.  Kvalitet will issue a certificate (not COC) to confirm that the technical documents comply with EMC and LVD rule manuals;  

-During the control period, the Serbian market inspection will consider the certificate of kvalitet to make the control process simpler and faster;

-After January 1, 2022, only the 3A mark is required (the last two digits of the year of issuance of the COC and the notification authority number are not required).
