India Updates the BIS Mark for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances

On January 30, 2019,  the Bureau of IndianStandards has announced an update of the BIS Mark.

The new BIS mark is:

Previously, the equivalent IEC standard (IEC 60035-1) wasalso required on this mark.

All products that fall under the Indian Standard IS 302,such as adapters for household and similar electrical appliances, need torevise their India BIS Mark to reflect the changes.
