Saudi Arabia CITC issues WiFi 6e new requirements

Saudi Arabia's communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) has issued new WLAN regulations. According to the regulations, the equipment used for WLAN application shall meet specific technical conditions, including environmental conditions and power limits, as well as some technical specifications of CITC.

In the new WLAN regulation, CITC has determined the requirements for devices using Wi Fi 6e technology as follows:

At present, Saudi Arabia CITC encourages communication equipment to support 5g NR, e-sim, WiFi 6, WiFi 6e and other new technologies, of which 5g NR will be mandatory on July 1, 2022.
